Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-08-31
By downloading, accessing or purchasing a license for LicenseDesktop ("the Software"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Software.
1. License grant
Subject to payment and these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software during the license period. The license is time-limited, not perpetual.
2. License period & renewal
- License periods are expressed in months; 1 authorization month = 30 days.
- A 12-month (M12) license grants use for 12 authorization months from activation.
- At expiry you may renew at the applicable renewal price. Unused periods are not refunded on early termination unless required by law.
3. Activation codes
- An activation code binds to one machine via a device (machine) code.
- You may not share, resell, or distribute activation codes, except as permitted in writing.
- Re-issuing a code to a new machine is handled through the software's supported process; abusive transfers may be denied.
4. Refund policy
- Because activation codes are digital goods, once delivered/activated they are generally non-refundable.
- A full refund may be requested within 7 days of purchase if the code has not been activated (claimed).
- If the Software has a material defect that prevents its intended use, we may offer a refund after verification (ticket + logs + reproduction).
- Refunds are processed through the original payment channel (Creem for USD purchases).
5. Use restrictions
- You may not decompile, reverse engineer, or attempt to bypass the Software's licensing/security features.
- You may not use the Software to engage in unlawful activity or to infringe third-party rights.
6. Disclaimer of warranties
The Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Software.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
