Schedules
Hand workflows to a timer — run automatically on your machine by cron rules, with no server in the loop.
What are schedules
Schedules make workflows run automatically on a timer: bind a workflow to a cron rule and the app triggers it locally when due. Typical uses:
- A daily work report every morning;
- A weekly dependency scan with a summarized report;
- Periodic backup / sync of a directory every few hours.
Creating a schedule
- Open "More → Schedules" in the sidebar and create a new one;
- Pick the workflow to run;
- Enter a cron rule (or choose a preset) and save.
Cron cheat sheet (min hour day month weekday):
| Expression | Meaning |
|---|---|
0 9 * | Every day at 09:00 |
0 9 1 | Mondays at 09:00 |
0 /4 | Every 4 hours |
30 8 1 | 1st of the month at 08:30 |
Where it runs
- Schedules execute on this machine — task data and results never touch a server;
- The app must be running (tray counts) when a trigger is due; nothing fires while the app is closed.
Managing schedules
The "Schedules" page lets you enable/disable, edit the rule, or delete a task at any time; each run's record and output appear in its session.
